Mak, don't worry to much about how they look. fish them anyway. steelhead are not as piticular about how great a jig looks as the steelheader using them.

keep trying and tying and the jigs will get better.

i use 3/8 oz rock dancer jigs but thats only for the Snake River where allbait size doubles by rule of thumb. i do want to start trying smaller jigs on different rivers but that requires long drive.

hey JB, I remember that site from some other guy whoopin it up here, and those are some neato looking beads..the funniest thing is the "special blood dot maker", because apparently its too hard to make a "dot" with a freehand sharpie?? but after looking at the sites pictures I have to ask.. whistle ..

Do you know which bead would catch the chromers rather than the "dont worry 'bout smokin it" boots so excitedly held up in the pictures??

..and yes I know its E. Wa. or whatever but..yeah.. lame

Where YOU fish probably true. Try fishing them where the crowds aren't......you may just decide you're full of it.

Holy boots is right! Ha! Thats kinda funny, but hey... its all the dudes got to work with.

I hate beads too. Fkin snaggers.

Good thing more people arent usin 'em, cuz i might be SOL up here, if the steelhead saw as many beads as their brethren do, corkies down south...

I hate when a fish turns to grab one... so disappointing, but for now, they smear the queer outta my beads.
