Are there cheap shots in the NFL, sure there are. There has always been those types of plays. When those plays happen throw the flag and move on. Just make sure it deserves a flag, because what I've seen lately is a bunch of bs calls on good hard physical plays. The NFL has gone way overboard, to a point where guys can't lay a good solid hit on someone without worrying about getting fined of suspended. It is a game played by special athletes at high speeds. More guys are going to get hurt going half speed if they have to think about whether every hit will result in a flag or fine.

Did anyone happen to catch all the fines levied by the league last week. It was a ridiculously long list. Just a few years ago very few if any of those plays would have resulted in fines. They are killing what made the league great in the first place.
