I am wondering what info anyone would give on fishing Sol Duc or Hoh springers. Havent fished 'em before and it looks like they will be the only good opportunity this year. What is primetime for the 2 rivers and what kind of numbers of fish are there?

Mid to late May and early June in the 'Duc and June and July in the Hoh ... neither are huge action fisheries ... just good steady fishing if you're really in tune with them .... many guys struggle with both these fisheries. The Hoh has become quite crowded in recent years with the SW closures, putting quite a strain on the only native springer population out here.

Are the fish real spooky that time of year in the Duc. It seems like it would be real low and clear in there. I assume kwikfish with wraps would be as good as anything?
