Pink Peal, Orange, Flame.....in that order... with green, pink, or red yarn.

Size 2 or 3

That card should be worth some $$$$$$$$$, someone, somewhere would pay, and pay, and then pay some more.

I sold all of mine......4-5 years ago..... $.50 a piece.....should be interesting to see what others like.

Late 60's, 70's..is when they were a major seller, like the Sammi Special's which is what the guys I fished with used, then.

Todd,

What's the main difference between cheese and the torch? Is one translucent?

I have a couple that are a weird color. Anyone know what its called? It has a little glitter or something in it

And I got bored and did some custom coloring. Before and after

RB, unless you painted that top one yourself, the color would be the "Sunrise" color, aka "Nail Polish Pink".. its probably the most well known color of all the Okies, and was the color that had Ebay all freaked out a while back...

Is the "Sunrise" color the nail-polish, translucent pink, because the translucent shiny pink okies were the ones people paid huge sums for last year. I'm confused.

Its not sunise. Here is it side by side with sunrise. Sunrise is translucent I believe. Sunrise is on the right. Mystery on the left. Could be custom painted not sure..

I have a few that are the nail-polish pink, but also translucent, and I don't know what they are. I also have a few like the one on the left above. If only Fish Prince were here to sort this thing out....my head hurts

Sunrise is on the left, the one on the right looks like its Red Flouro...

heres some Sunrise:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Okie-drifters-original-sunrise-size-3-/251198435715?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7c97f183&nma=true&si=0g1TEDGKbBCnpnKsASdQx4L21tw%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

these are also Sunrise, although he has them labeled as Pink Pearlescent

http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Vintage-Okie-d...=item19d78b1204

the Sunrise Okies were never translucent that im aware of, the only true translucent ones were the Ruby, Egg Flouro, Red Flouro, Orange Flouro, and Green Flouro, all others are solid colors...

I have some like in the ebay ad. If you hold them to light, the light penetrates it. With the mystery one, no light penetration occurs. Oh well its all good.

Still interested in knowing the difference between torch and cheese. I have a handful of cheese on the way smile

You're right, those ones from ebay are like the ones I have, in that you can see light penetrating through them, whereas, like you pointed out, the one in your picture, no light penetrates.

I have a bunch of the red or Orange flo. They look just like the above okie drifters, but they are a soft material like a rubber worm. if you are interested let me know and I will send ya a pic. I am not looking to sell them. probably give them to the right person.... Happy Holidays

Matt, those arent Okies you have, they are "Gooey Bobs" and were mainly a Canadian item although some were sold here too, they were made by Luhr Jensen as well as the foam Okies after Jensen bought the company from Jim Maxwell...

id take them deffinately if you want to get rid of them, let me know...

That card sold on eBay a week or so ago for over 65 bucks........ don't ask me how I know this......

I collect okies, but I wouldn't go over 50 bucks on that card.... so I guess I don't have a problem.... help
