Tonight @ 5:30 Preview.... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/college...iew/?xid=cnnbinSupposedly there are reps from at least 3 NFL teams in Phoenix waiting to talk to Coach Kelly after the game. Wonder if Chip can keep his kids focused on the task at hand with all the drama swirling around ?

Kelly's getting out while the getting's good. I don't think anything's a good fit for him right now. One of these days Belichick makes a call to Chip. "I'm going to the front office. Come coach my team." That would be the NE boy's destination job. I've thought that for some time. Today one of the local talking heads reminded me of it.

Chip will zip on out just before the sanctions come piling on in...cashing in before cashing out.
Anyone see the report about the USC player who is suing USC for giving him hardcore prescription painkillers...without a prescription, and without telling him what it was or what the risks were...and said painkillers may have contributed to him having a heart attack?
Fish on...

Mf If by settling in you mean missing a FG and then giving up a TD in less than a minute, then yes they are settling in.

They should dump Ron Rivera and hire Kelly. Cam Newton in his offense would be deadly plus they have two decent backs in Williams and Stewart.

Cam Newt is the type of QB that would fit the "system". But could Chip join in with the man-boy that beat him ? For that reason I didn't mention it, but who knows, never say never I suppose. Also it's the South. Yankees are never completely comfortable in the South.

KILLIN me sons!! Your killing you ... I bet you dream of being a coog? As for the Beavs ... I will pull more tomorrow, little tired tonight and not on my "A" game. Very hot. Here's a bedtime prayer for Chuck and for Chip. (and Twitch) Imagine that it is being whispered in your ear by one of the aforementioned hotties.... Our Team who art in GLENDALE, hallowed be thy name. Thy fans will come. Thy will be done on turf as it was on grass. Give us this day our FIESTA BOWL win, and forgive us our penalties, as we forgive those who call them against us, and lead us not into 3rd and long ,but deliver us from the back field. For Autzen is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. !!!!!OOOOOOO!!!!! Good luck Coach if you go. Now break out the Scotch and cigars.

I got nothing on that ... god damn. One cannot argue with a dynasty run like Orygun has had ... they should be playing for the BCS championship (and winning it) in my opinion but as always the west coast has to be 10 fold above the rest to even get credit. That said they had their shot ... and came up short. I wont believe that bama or ND could beat them this year however. They dismantled K State ... and that says a lot. See ya Chip ... That defense drives me crazy. Too soft. They did keep Klein contained pretty well, though. Mariota sputters at times but usually doesn't turn the ball over. He's only a frosh. DeAnthony shocked them with that run back. We should see some defense in the Bama/ND game.

How do you consider it a dynasty run when they lost their only NC appearance and are .500 in bowl games? Alabama is on a dynasty run.

If Kelly goes to the NFL, he'll need to change his coaching ways a bit. You've got to kick a field goal at the end of the third quarter rather then going for it on fourth down. Had KS scored another TD the game could have become very interesting.
It is those types of decisions that get NFL coaches fired.

It is those types of decisions that get NFL coaches fired. I agree and he's probably smart enough to know that as well. He seems to call some risky plays according to field position (of course) and momentum. If they're moving the ball and around the opponent's 30 yard line he will often go for it on 4th and short. I didn't like that go for it on 4th and 4 play. The 2 point conversion after the opening play score was a typical punch you in the mouth and make you like play. I like aggressive play calling but i don't like the low percentage gambling.

Todd http://bleacherreport.com/articles/16063...p-kellys-tenureOregon Reportedly Facing Major NCAA Sanctions Stemming from Chip Kelly's Tenure BY MATT LOMBARDO (CONTRIBUTOR) ON APRIL 16, 2013 Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly will meet the media for the first time following an NFL practice today at the NovaCare Complex but will likely be pressed with questions stemming from NCAA sanctions the University of Oregon now faces from violations during his tenure there. Multiple reports, including The Oregonian state that the university and the NCAA have agreed on the sanctions, including a probation period and scholarship reductions. KATU.com has has received the report that describes the violations. “There were underlying major violations coupled with failure to monitor violations involving the head coach (2009 through 2011) and the athletics department (2008-2011),” NCAA enforcement staff wrote in the report. “While the violations were not intentional in nature, coaches and administrators of a sports program at an NCAA member institution have an obligation to ensure that the activities being engaged in comply with NCAA legislation.” Initial reports are that Will Lyles, who runs a recruiting service and worked for Oregon since 2008, provided Kelly and the Ducks a "meaningful recruiting advantage" due to his ties with several players and coaches from Texas. Lyles received $25,000 from the school and the implication is that he may have persuaded players to attend the University of Oregon. The violations are said to have occurred from 2008-2011 when Kelly served as the offensive coordinator, and later the head coach of the Ducks. “I am aware of the recent reports and of the ongoing investigation being conducted by the NCAA and the University of Oregon," Kelly said in a statement released by the team, Tuesday. "While at Oregon, I know we were fully cooperative with all aspects of the investigation and I will continue to contribute in any way that I can. But until the NCAA rules on the matter, I will have no further comment.” Kelly is unlikely to face any disciplinary action from either the NCAA or the school, but it is peculiar that the first-year NFL coach initially rebuffed the Eagles offer in January before ultimately changing his tune and making the leap to Philadelphia. The Eagles head coach will meet the media at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday following the opening day of Philadelphia's minicamp. Matt Lombardo is a contributor to Bleacher Report, as well as an on-air personality on 97.5 FM The Fanatic in Philadelphia. Join the conversation and follow Matt on Twitter: @MattLombardo975 ******** Big surprise, this. I also heard that Oregon was offering up less scholarships and two years of probation already... Fish on... Todd
