So yesterday was really the first day to get to check out this r3 video setting on my hero2, I was also experimenting with the lighting mode on "spot" to see if better colors and hue would show. Here are a couple stills pulled off straight from the video, running them through a picture editor like pisca photo editor will warrant better results, as one may notice Mt biking has ruined my lens cover too, several good face plants into a tree will do that for you!
one worthy upgrade for these old models is the flat lense replacement, it changes the housing lens and creates a filter acclaimed for its use under water, it really make s a huge difference and is well worth the little bit of cash ..btw the hero2 is only a 5 gb picture, the new ones however are 12gb!!

the video below is 3 minutes in the life of a Bio on surveys. As we walked the upper stretch of this creek we where amazed at the amount of change that had occurred within the last week and a half of fluctuating water events...to sum it up the upper stretch held almost NO suitable spawning gravel, several of the holes you will see him with hands in the air going "WTF??"...its because all of the good gravel had been moved somewhere several miles downstream..what was left was large cobble, blown out corners and filled in pools, sad to see all that gravel(and EGGS!!) go the way of the dodo...having all the large, loose, new rock also made the walkin quite fun, i think we averaged just over a mile an hour..hope you enjoy.
damn, i just deleted the video cause im a 'tard..and just about to leave for a weekend on the coast..video will be up later, sorry
