I have a question. I know the Calawah and Sol Duc get a plant of summer-runs, according to WDFW's plant report.

However, I also hear about the Bogachiel and Hoh having summer-runs. I know the Hoh has a wild run, but I've heard of hatchery fish being caught out of both of these.

My question is are the Hoh and Bogey planted with summer-runs? or are these hatchery summer-runs just strays from other rivers? If WDFW doesn't plant these, who does?

Any info would be appreciated. I want to explore some new water this summer. You don't need to give away any secrets-I'll learn the water on my own. I just want to know about the fish.

Both the Hoh and Bogey have been planted as well as other area streams ... although this now may very well come to an end ... they are state fish ... a word of wisdom here: don't believe everything you read in the plant reports!!!
