You can use any compressor as long as you have a regulator. I bought little one from harbor freight for about fifty bucks and it worked great. you want to run about 30-35 psi..........

I just used my big compressor and like Moby said just regulate the airflow down to 35psi, worked like a champ!

its just like using a big HVLP gun... dont let the stream sit in one spot for too long, cover the area thouroughly, but not heavy, apply 2 coats instead of 1 thick coat, ect ect ect... they are actually pretty fun to use...

if Todd doesnt snatch this, im interested possibly as well, i was just looking at AB kits a week ago...

I have the airbrush set very low for fine spraying of dots, ect. You have to go over the same spot many times to get full coverage. I am no master, but figured it out in about an hour. With anything the more you do the better you'll get. The first hour was spent practicing on 3x5 cards.

Deal. I'll take it. Shoot me your particulars via PM and let's find a time to meet up...maybe even tomorrow afternoon/early evening?

Thanks!

Todd, do us a little favor (well me kinda), if you have some blue tape (if not get a roll) take one of your all black spoons, and cut the spoon down the middle with the tape, and spray the other half flame red with the paint you are getting... it will help you practice, im sure you have 1 spoon you could use, and i want to see a red and black spoon of yours... might even give you a new color choice if you like it as well...

Thanks, Larry...I'll keep those things in mind.

I'm going to pick up the whole shebang tomorrow, and if I figure it out easily enough I may offer some spoons with some different paint jobs soon!

Thanks, Jason, and see you tomorrow.

probably should see what the fish think first tho, always have like the nightmare colors on any lure...
