Hey Eric, this post is mainly to you, but anyone else who cares to spend the time to read it can do so. Eric, this past weekend it got a little hot (90) and I spent some time at the river, the Nooch. Well anyways it was hight and dirty, probally alot of snow water, but in only 8 days before June 1st the river opens up... Maybe this will keep some of the people away... but anyways are you gonna fish the nooch opening day? if so maybe we can get hooked up and have a hayday with these strong fish! well get back to me... thanks Andy

ANDY,

Good morning! I saw they raised the level too. It's one of two things; 1) snowmelt release from the dam or 2) they're doing an artificial run-off to flush out smolts and pull adults in. They've done this before.

As far as keeping people away- forget it! Last year opening day there was close to 70 boats on the river. Mid week! Pressure WAY out of proportion to the numbers of fish available. It was a turn off.

I thought about sneaking out for a couple ours before school on the opener. It'll be an early one to stake out a hole that doesn't have 5 guys and 7 boats in it. The die hards will launch in the middle of the night.

If you want to hook up and talk, I'm game. But like I said, I'm in it for just the first couple hours of daylight.

Eric
