anyone got any? post it up!!

i picked this up a few weeks ago at a pro shop for archery... saw it and figured what the heck, ive caught fish on em.. wont fish this one tho unless its from the 80s, but i doubt that because the pack is stapled not glued like the newer stuff...

anyone know a time frame of when it was made? Vedder?

for those that dont know, Clarence Shoff was the founder of Lamiglas...

Redhook, i believe that lure is from the 70's,as it still has totem mfg logo vs. the triple teaser company . The card in this pic is early 70's and the bubble on yours is most likely due to its being a casting model(treble hook, thicker metal) Here's a shoff socko king and non flash bar model salmon plug as well

Cedar, i see yours have stamps under them, what do they mean? cool collection...

i used to have a bunch of McMahon spoons (similiar to the Canadian Wonder), but they are long gone now...

This display card used to hang in Buffalo Bill's Sporting Goods in Issaquah, WA. When they went out of business, I bought the card from the owner. The numbers/letters stamped below the lures refer to the finish/color scheme. These Triple Teazers are samples and don't have hooks on them.

I agree, and my favorite was the one that RH posted up, the thick casting model in pink/white with the treble hook.

Fish on...

nice collection Aud... didnt know Maxwell made spoons too...

PD, cool spoons, alot of people dont know that Eddie Bauer isnt just a clothing line, he was an extremely good fisherman... the first house i ever worked on with my dad was his old house bought by a Microsoft family on Bear Creek... we found some old newspapers in there, but no fishing gear...

yeah thats an old one for sure... i know that Les Davis also did a remake of the TT, along with Luhr Jensen, but his are called the "Little Teaser" in older ones as you can see in Aud's pic... Davis did his in the 60s, not sure if Shoff did them then, or if it was 70s for him... the originator was Eggelston in the 30s, he was from Walla Walla..

sure is fun to live in Washington State..

Wow redhook, you are the man on these things! Thanks!! heres one last shot, look close at ones above the les davis version and see they are marked Heddon. No idea of the history on these, found them in an envelope at an estate sale.

i just know what ive been told and have read, nothing special...i think Heddon made the originals before they were patented in the 30s, from what ive read about them they are from the late 20s-early 30s and are extremely rare and hard to find.. nice peices...

Les Davis patented his own, he tweaked the tail section and therefore it was a new design he could capitalize on...

i was young and dumb, and lost alot of my old stuff, cuz i used it, i didnt care, it was a lure, not so much anymore...

heres an older Wordens "Jiffy" plug, its probably not that old, but they dont look like this much anymore wink

An older locally manufactured lure I was given by my father is the Brass Robertson Spoon that was manufactured in Bellingham. one is rigged for fishing and the other still in its original package.

Many lures are designed to catch fishermen as well as fish. Old Mr Boston sold this to catch fishermen only, 100 proof, from the early 70's.

The Hook bros being pressed eye is a later production plug,I would guess the Rosegard is from the same time frame(1950's). Martin bought Rosegard like so many other plug makers as the market dwindled, and you could still find Rosegards packaged in a plastic bag with a Martin lable up until Martin closed up shop in the 80's
