It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Would that be the same Patriot Act that keeps being renewed and expanded? Yes - so contrary to the poster to whom I was replying, both liberal and conservative politicans have been trashing the Constitution for quite some time. The curious part is why you conservatives wash the balls of conservatives trashing the Constitution and cry like lillte girls when a liberal is doing it.

Oh I trashed O' plenty on Bush and team for Patriot Act v.1 back in the day (10 years ago). I also thought the new guy in 08' just might help to correct that mess. Nope! Extend and expand. If anything, I call a spade a spade, regardless if there is a D or R behind the name. It always "ok" to do it when its "our" side, but never when its the "other" side. Well Iearned a long time ago that there are no "sides" to the coin. That's why I'm an Indy.

I just checked my guns and one was missing. I was going to freak out but than I remembered I stashed it under the couch after some beers late one night. You sound like a very responsible gun owner. Thanks Hank!

Yeah Hank, I'd consider it, but those conservatives are making much louder whining about trashing by liberals than they did when the trashing was being done by conservatives. Therefore the consideration gets stretched a tad thin by the duplicity.
UP THE REVOLUTION! OK, how many of you right wing nut jobs are ready to join? You have often referenced "REVOLUTION" in previous posts. I pose this question to you. Do you actually desire a "REVOLUTION" with all of the loss of humanity that would bring to bare, our are you just engaging the board in your little game of hyperbole?

It wasn't a mistake. It was a blatant attack on the 4th amendment rights of the citizens of Washington State.

Time for a petition.

It was clearly an attack on the 4th amendment. Certainy takes a swipe at the 2nd, but I don't see a full frontal assault on the 2nd.
As to the State Constitution, it does violate Sections 2 and 7. Again, it takes a swipe at Section 24, but it is not an outright and blatant attack on it, in my opinion.
Kline, Kohles-Wells, and Murray should be recalled.

Kline, Kohles-Wells, and Murray should be recalled. But Dogfish.......he would have never supported it if he would have read it.

Blackmouth,
I'm a pacifist at heart, so no way do I favor any loss of humanity. However I have just enough redneck heritage to not flinch at the notion of executing menaces to society, including politicians who steadfastly work against it, either maliciously or from stupidity. As Todd wrote: "stupidity should hurt." And it seems like we've come to a point where maintaining the Constitution is revolutionary. So sad, and so true.
