I’m just back from a month long quail hunt in Arizona. Not too many quail killed but a great adventure. Here are a few random pictures.

This after TYE ate Chuck’s first quail of the trip

It can get cold in the desaert.

WE took a drive to a Greek orthodox monastray in the desert.

Fireplace time is always the best!

Tye had cactus boots but sure didn’t like them much

This desert hunting is HARD work.

But a quail BBQ sure goes good.

And there’s always another spectacular sunset.

Great pics....looks like it was a grand adventure.
Those doves must have been vacationing farther south.

The Monte did fine. It even got a double one day. The guy behind it was erratic.

The learning curve was amazing. On day one he had a dozen or more. On day two maybe three. After that maybe one a day.

Sweet trip Dave! Glad you and Tye had a "grand" adventure.

Funny how the critters adapt to cactus etc...my last lab would skirt cactus patches or goat-head patches while still hot on a bird. Barb-wire fences were another story!
