Whos put the bug up their b*** anyway? We don't even get rebuttal or post our response letters. If you read between the lines it also says that I-696 has made some valid points. They are probably getting used to my emails. Heres all the papers you can email:

The link to the Seattle Times also has a phone number you can use to let Ms. Davila know what you think of her unbiased reporting. Suggest she do some analysis of the lies and half-truths the opponents are using in their ads. Hope signs are starting to appear in your area, I'm seeing a lot around here. I-696 got some good radio coverage today, however KPLU-FM(NPR)let one opponent make the statement that they had the support of many Audubon chapters, when in fact, they have one chapter endorsement as far as I know. Eight Audubon chapters have endorsed I-696. Another lie left unchallenged. Only a week of this B.S. left to go.

I just called KOMO TV to see if they are having a Town Meeting program like last night's I695 and they said no- that sucks. One reason I called was because they gave the numbers of their most recent poll (3 to 2 in favor, you guys will be the envy of the country ) and I thought maybe they would have I696 poll numbers. So, does anyone know of any numbers from an unbiased poll for I696?

Don't have numbers, but a KIRO-TV report said Yes on 696 was ahead in the polls. A
P-I reporter said last week that I-696 was leading in their polls also. The netters spent almost $23,000 in polls and studies and didn't release the results. What does that tell you? Should be a I-696 report on KING-TV News tonight. Maybe before the game. Tom Nelson was interviewed for it. Who knows how it will come out after the edit?

Thanks Cedar, I read your post 3 minutes before it was aired. At least they mentioned the fact that one reason some environmentalist groups are against it is because they think it diverts attention away from their agendas. Too bad they didn't point out that I696 should be viewed as a part of the beginning. I guess the hikers and kayakers and tree-huggers know they that sportfishermen will back their reclaimation plans. What a shame they're that way.

I called the Seattle Times reporter yesterday and left her a message, I beleive that she must have commercial fisking blood in her veins. Her story should have been on the editorial page. Wayne Kruse at the Everett Herald said that he would be writing a piece for I-696 prior to the election, he doesn't have much time left. You can e-mail him at kruse@heraldnet.com and encourage him to do it quickly, also the governor needs to hear from the people of Washington. E-mail him at locke@governor.wa.gov he needs to hear from everyone out there. If you have done nothing else to support I-696 up til now then you need to help by sending e-mail to every paper in Washington that has a web page or e-mail and there is still a need for money, I just sent in another check yesterday. Any amount will help, empty your coin jar and send the contents because when this passes there will surly be a court challenge by the commercial interests. Also e-mail or call your represntatives in Olympia and don't forget to mention the continued funding of the Reiter ponds hatchery facility. It has been included in the state budget but Locke has to sign it. Thank you for supporting I-696.
