I called the Seattle Times reporter yesterday and left her a message, I beleive that she must have commercial fisking blood in her veins. Her story should have been on the editorial page. Wayne Kruse at the Everett Herald said that he would be writing a piece for I-696 prior to the election, he doesn't have much time left. You can e-mail him at kruse@heraldnet.com and encourage him to do it quickly, also the governor needs to hear from the people of Washington. E-mail him at locke@governor.wa.gov he needs to hear from everyone out there. If you have done nothing else to support I-696 up til now then you need to help by sending e-mail to every paper in Washington that has a web page or e-mail and there is still a need for money, I just sent in another check yesterday. Any amount will help, empty your coin jar and send the contents because when this passes there will surly be a court challenge by the commercial interests. Also e-mail or call your represntatives in Olympia and don't forget to mention the continued funding of the Reiter ponds hatchery facility. It has been included in the state budget but Locke has to sign it. Thank you for supporting I-696.
