Just heard from one of the salesguys that visits weekly that the color was "Emerald Green". Said that he had a couple buddies that were headed that way and had heard the conditions were quite fishable.
Don't know these guys, so take it with a grain of salt.....you know how us steelheaders LIE. LOL and later.

Stoped by the Nooch on Sunday. Emerald green is a bit generous. I would call it just a bit murky. Saw lots of boat trailers at White Bridge. Twice as many at Wishka. Not a single fish!!
Still, a boat ride would be just the thing to round out the week.

I drifted from White Bridge to Black Creek yesterday - saw at least 20 drift boats, probably more as I didn't count. A couple of jets down at Black Creek in the morning. One boat I talked to caught 1 spawner. The rest of the boats, including mine, along with 30 or so bankers had no fish. The river is in great shape, nice green color - 1.5 to 2 feet vis., but no real numbers of fish yet. I might try again Sunday if the showers we are getting don't mud it up too bad.

Weyerhauser had enough and closed the 2200 for the forseeable future because of all the slobs and partiers that abused the area during the summer.
