I plan on switching to them from the fish on's on my 16' Lund this summer for Kingers. Heard nothing but good things about them.

I was also worried about how they would be for Sturgeon, but my first 4 trips for sturgeon this spring have resulted in a total of about 110 sturgeon to the boat. I don't think the Sturgeon mind the Folbes grin Now I just need 3 more for the Clack.

Went out for a shakedown cruise Saturday morning, after we got all the downriggers and rod holders mounted......

The Folbe's passed the test......we were a little worried how they would handle the rod loading on the downrigger, but after reefing/bumping/twisting the rods in the holders six ways to Sunday, the Folbe's didn't let go of the rods under pressure!

Tried to talk the skipper into letting me mount the center rod holder on top of that new Yamaha cowling ala EyeFish, but he politely replied "Hell no"!

Still trying to talk the skipper into letting me drill that new cowling... havin' a tough time pulling that trigger.

Mine got good work out today! Had some DB Greenies out today, promised I'd get the gf dad out before tuna season. Did find them a dmbrrun! I'll have to sand them down a tad bit, they were a bit sticky today with temps up to the 80's. Although while under tension with fish pulling line off the reel they seem to function just fine!

Thanks again Art for a great product!
