Quick reminder on the day before yesterday about my all time favorite lure... #4 Blue Fox Vibrax, Silver Blade Blue Body... what won't it catch!? Summer Runs, Winter Runs, Silvers, Chinook, Trout, Dolly Varden... what's yours?

A little Northern Love for the Blue Vibrax...

Bait aside (the title says lures, right?) spinners in too many sizes and configurations to mention here. I will say Blue Foxes and RVRFSHR's get my orders though.

A certain size and color of Qwickie is gaining ground fast for Fall fishing too.

I'll make a distinction between favorite lure and the lure I'd pick if it was the only one I could use for all types of fishing for the rest of my life.

Favorite - Size 4 hopper dry fly - just too fun seeing a large brown crash it on the surface.

If I could only use one lure for all types of fishing - buzz bomb - salmon, trout, steelhead, kokanee, lings, halibut, bass, perch, etc. Fresh or salt water boat or bank I'd consider it one of the most productive lures available. No not snagging!! fished properly for the type of fish/water it's deadly.
