my comparisons of Assad vs Hitler had nothing to do with what each of them were/are in situation wise, its the tyranny that each of them are/were doing...
own people, other countries, doesnt matter, both of them have murdered hundreds of thousands/millions of people that opposed their views... if Assad goes unchecked, he will kill even more people, and probably make the 100k+ people look like a pin prick...

It's called genocide. No tyrant started the "fad". I find ot humorous that the average citizen actually thinks they no the one and real reasons for entering a battle or war. Multiple aspects come into play before we jump in. If you believe Iraq was solely based on doscovering WMD's than I admire your innocence. The CIA could answer that question without the first sign of 'mericans.

The people in these countries have been fighting for over 2,000 YEARS...
We should stay out.. We don't have the money for it anyway.. ENOUGH of these dumb-azzed foreign 'wars'... It'd be different if they had attacked this country. They haven't. And now there's some evidence being found this may be a trick by the opposition to use the US in a plan to dethrone Assad..
