Well, I convinced my brother to take a weekend off from Columbia sturgeon fishing to give blackmouth a try up here. Only problem is...I don't know the sound very well. Can anyone offer advice on launches, fishing locations, method, etc. We will be in an 18 ft Alumaweld Intruder (no downriggers). Prefer to launch on eastside (Everett, Edmonds, etc). Without downriggers, I'd mooch with cutplug herring either at Point No Point or the West side of Possession Bar. Launch at the Everett Marina for a 20-30 min. boat ride. Use 4oz mooching sinkers and go 10 feet off the bottom and drift. Good luck. Marc
