A few fish a day have been caught at Oregon City. Yesterday a half dozen fish came out of the Sand Bar at O.C. and there was only a few boats. When the river clears some, the fishing should be good. I'll be out there wendsday.

Went out from the Kalama boat launch on 3/11 at dark thirty. Fished the tide change for some springers but were not blessed by one. after that we went for some sturgeon. One keeper and plenty of shakers. Fished the late tide change for some more springers. I got no fish but my friend hit one that striped his line and then spit his alvin and said good bye. I believe that it will get better over the next few weeks as long as they keep it open.Cowliz mouth is full of seals, good and bad news at the same time. They fish better than us.

How about the Hoh river. When do the springers start trickling in there? I'm going this weekend for steelhead but would be interested in hooking into a fresh springer!!! Any info.
