from the sounds of it they moved on up above the park. naturally it's closed above the park bridge. unless you are in the broodstock program. but I havn't fished that far up anyway. the best thing to do is just start hitting it and sooner or latter you will hit them.

Hey Farmgirl,
We used to catch them into May, I have read your posts and it seems that you really like the Satsop...if that is the case...keep fishin it and it will respond and reward. Major tip though, don't wait for reports be the one that makes the reports!

Good word Jim!!! You're right!

I haven't fished the Satsop much...It just seems to be a later producing river that's fairly close to home!!! Not that anywhere is close!!! I'm way out on a peninsula!!! Far to EVERYWHERE!!!

Thanks again everyone!!!

Hey Farmgirl, the Satsop gets a lot of pressure but if you keep at it it pays off. There are some really big nates in there and they're full of P&V. Good luck.
Fish hard or go home!!!!

Fished the Satsop 3-14-00 had three people on my boat 2 of them were from Cali. They got cold so we were only on the river for 2 hours. Caught 3 lost 1. Got a report from the week before from a friend with 2 people on his boat caught 9. River is starting to heat up all Natives so practice good catch and release techniques.
