Howdy,
Fished around Reiter this morning. We hit the hatchery water, since nobody else had showed up. First cast (you gotta love it) C&R an 8lb. hatchery fish. My friend Bryan (you Reiter rats know him) lost a chrome slab upstream from there. I also released a sea-run dolly. My question, how are you guy's doing on the river from Sultan down? Is it happening? I got's to know! Thank's for any info.

Drifted the Sky from Sultan to Ben howard on Saturday. There were quite a few boats on the river but we we didn't get started until mid-day (we were hoping to fish for blackmouth). Water was up quite a bit but still had an milky green color. Pulled plugs and didn't get a hit. Did see a big fish cruising the shallows right in front of the Ben Howard launch though.

After two skunk's (including one "hail" of a drift between Ben Howard/Lewis St. thursday, the only 2 fish we got on, were off before the pole came out of the holder) Today was great! went above Reiter and C&R two wild hen's. Both taped 32in. The first one grabbed my spoon, and I caught the second one on my friend Bryan's special native jig. Fighting fish like that, in the fast moving water of the upper Sky. is too much. Lot's of guy's on the river around Monroe. How's it going?
