I have bought new camera bodies and lenses so am not using my Nikon D200 which is a 10 megapixal dSLR . It is in very good condition. I don't know how many shutter clicks it has. I think it is has somewhere between 20,000,-30,000 clicks. Normal life time for these cameras is 100,000 clicks. There are some paint wear marks on one corner of the camera bottom.

Comes with battery charger, battery and four 4 Gig Compact Flash cards

Camera body $250
Tamron lens $100

Free shipping for U.S. destinations.

I will post photos of the gear soon.

I replaced the D200 with a D40X, a D5000 and a D3200 in that order starting about five or six years ago.

None are as solidly build as the D200 which was $1800 when I bought it. These newer models are throwaway camera bodies in comparison, but they do have improved sensors and in the $500 to $600 dollar range are easily replaceable.

I am a semi-retired freelance photographer and can get by without the top of the line camera bodies which the D200 once was.

If you check on Ebay, this is pretty much the going rate or slightly less on both the camera and lens, I just wanted to offer it here first.

My apologies about getting photos posted, I will get them up on the weekend. Things came up, as does happen.

All of my photo's originate from this camera body model. I haven't had the motivation/money to upgrade since it takes great pictures and the cost to take better pictures is so high I cant justify it, ...yet.
All told at original retail I bought this camera body used with 2k clicks for $850.00, then spent 2k on DX glass for it. I've been very happy with its rigidity and performance.

This is a steal of a price, especially including that Tamron lens, for anyone looking for a tank of a digital SLR.

Finally got some photos made. I had forgotten how hard it is to photograph
a black object.

Looking at the photographs I found the camera body and Tamron lens are a little more cosmetically worn than I realized. The Tamron lens has some dust inside the glass elements. I have not seen any loss of image quality as a result.

In all fairness due to these wear marks, I am offering a 14 day return as long as the camera is in the same condition as I sent it.

I'd prefer payment through PayPal as I have an account.

The reason I am selling this camera and lens is only because I do most of my photography to be sold on the internet by photo agencies and most require a minimum 12 megapixel sensor. I replaced the 18-200 Tamron because I bought a 18-270 Tamron. The camera bodies I bought as replacements are 12.2 and 24.2 Megapixel cameras.

I forgot to do a backview of the D200 but can post one later.

Whoops, images 2 & 3 are the same view, just different files.

As Sky-Guy commented, the D200 is a very solidly built camera body.

Here's the photo I mistakenly left out.

This package/price is tempting and I already have two DSLRs; one of which was Sebastes and bought off this very board.

Very solid camera, and a perfect all around lens that will do wide angle and moderate telephoto.

If this is still here in a week, I'm buying it.

Camera & lens sold.

Thanks everyone for you comments and interest.

It now has a new owner among PP members.

The D200 is a much more solid camera body than
my newer models, but I needed to get up to at least
12 megapixels for my photo agencies.
