I remember watching the Largent hit live back in Denver. Everyone in the family was in awe that he popped off like that. I must have been in Jr. High about then. Good times. The Broncos are not f'd and neither team is going to torch the other. The Hawks secondary is going to have to account for 4 premium WR's not just Crabtree & Davis. I predict lots and lots of drive extending holding and PI calls on the Legion of Boom. IMO the Hawks are going to need get either lots of turnovers OR get up big early. Denver can put up HUGE points in a blink of an eye. Get down a couple of scores to Peyton & Co. and its pretty much over as the Hawks don't have the offensive horses to hang. Anyway - have fun tearing the above apart for the next few days. I'm going fishing til' Sunday - so adios amigos.

What makes you think you won't get to hear about how the Hawks are going to tear up the Broncos over the next four days? I think that the refs are going to play a big role in this game, by either letting them play (like every other playoff game this year, for every team), or by calling ticky tack fouls on anyone covering a receiver that Peyton Manning is throwing at (not an altogether unlikely scenario). Here's a vote for "let 'em play". Fish on... Todd

Manning is all about timing. When Manning gets beat it is when his timing is off. We have the secondary to jam those guys and upset that timing. We do that we win.
We can handle thomas and thomas as matchups on most plays.......it is little welker that could be trouble. He was tough to beat last time as he matched up with Walter. If Walter can handle Welker this time we will have Peyton running for his life. When he has to do that he throws picks and falls apart. Watched it over and over and over in playoff games with him.

Denver is ranked 29th in pass defense I bet Seattle passes the ball to set up the Beastmode pounding! Denver is ranked 8th in run defense. Percy should be fresh and ready to do some damage.  It will sure be nice not to have a spy on Manning running the ball.

Percy should be fresh and ready to do some damage. until he suffers a toothache or ingrown toenail during the game. trust me brewer would love to see 3 Russell/harvin connections for TDs.

I still don't get it. Why lock a football thread when we are headed to the Super Bowl? Numerous requests? I bet I could name each of the culprits.  I probably didn't word that correctly. Just to clarify, no one was "bitching" or whining about it.... The sentiment was simply that the Seahawks vs the 49er's story is done for this season. So now you sandy mods are gonna dictate what does and does not get discussed here anymore eh? Then we can expect to not read about humpy fishing until humpy season ... correct? Looks like the mic'd players and coaches from this weekends championship games will be playing on the NFL network at 9:00 tonight. The show is called Sound FX. The only football thread that was locked...was one which was replaced with less SanFranwhiner BS and one more relevant going forward. Frankly speaking...sometimes to have the kick the soap box out from underneath the whiner...
In addition..that thread was done...that story is over this year. A new story lies ahead for Seahawk fans.
