I'm looking for a Wynoochie Report. Any steelies being picked up there? 3 days on the Bogey last week was the worst I've ever experienced.

I can report that the sheer number of boat hulls displacing the river's water caused the damn thing to dry up. Looks like a southern California traffic jam at quit'n time.

Can't speak to the actual fishing, if that's even possible.

Stay home, summer lows or close. Really not much happening as of now.

Reason you don't see much written word.........just not much to write about.

Oh I could tell you about the 2 herds of elk, or the 100+ rigs that are parked at the different launches but out and out success stories are few.

December over, toward the end of January, even with a couple of "high waters" not many fish have made it to the fish trap.....that's a bad sign

Pretty much the story.......thousands of hours, thousands of fisherpersons, lot's of guides.......just not many fish for all the effort.

Actually fished it yesterday, no, really. White bridge to Black Creek. Moved one fish. Out of 8 boats on the drift, 1 fish. Slow.

Also fished White Bridge to Black Creek yesterday, we were last boat down batting clean up and no fish for us either!

WTF were you doing down here? Stay up there!

It doesn't help when limits are posted online with the name of the river (on a different site) right before the weekend when the river went back into shape. I heard it was stuffed with boats that weekend. Maybe it was a trick to get everyone on that river to free up others. If that's the case, well played, very well played.

Just got home from my "week end", check lower boat launch out.....not anywhere close to the amount of trailers as has been.......tells me something......

What a great day, almost too good.....some flowers are coming up....way too early.

Elk are everywhere............FISH, are no where.......

Wow........... just looked at the river flow.....they cut the flow way back, pretty soon, it will be "summer lows"..........

Satsop has been tough too. All the bad reports wont keep me off the river tho.
