Is anyone catching Springers on the Wind or at Drano? I am planning a trip this Monday to one of those rivers. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Some fish being caught at both places...3000 springers past Bonneville today, so.....your guess is as good as mine! I know I am holding off another week.

Last Wednsedsa, saw about 14 caught from the bank and boats at Drano. Going to fish it again tomorow and with 5000 across Boneville the last count it should be pretty good.

Just ate our first springer of the season. Superb!!! We fished the Wind Sat and Sun from 5:30 until noon each day. We got one fish at 6:00am on Sat and that was it. For both days a total of maybe 20 fish caught for 85+ boats each day. Fished Drano Sat. from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and saw 1 fish caught. VERY slow fishing, hopefully it will pick up this weekend.

Drano was very slooow Monday. Tuesday was hot from dawn until the sun hit the water. Boaters and Bankers, seems like everyone had a fish on. after that, the fish must have left to buy sunscreen.

I bet the reason the fishing was good on Tuesday was because 8,500 fish came over Bonneville on Monday, and another 7,000 fish on Tuesday. WOW! thats alot of fish. This weekend should be hot.

I was fishing Drano yesterday and saw about 20 fish caught ran the boat downriver to the wind and saw about 40 fish caught(4/20/00) I was only there about 4 hrs I was at drano for 6 hrs.about 100 boats at Drano and maybe 150 or more at the wind. But with that extension at the wind it really wasn't to bad.Just remember stay CALM it can get really crowded at times seems like you all come togeth every now and then.BUT THE FISH ARE THERE at the wind and its just going to get better.Day before over 70 fish caught at the wind.
