Joe,
The Sky from the mouth of the Sultan up is currently closed for fishing until the first of June, but you can still float it. You put in at High bridge just past the town of Gold Bar. Cross the bridge, continue east 1/8th mile, look for the public fishing access sign on the right. It is an undeveloped launch, don't back down too far, it's sandy and moderately steep. If you're thinking of going all the way to Monroe, prepare for a long day. You might consider Sultan to Ben Howard, or Two Bit to Monroe. Both are good 8hr. floats if you work them hard. The Sky will close May 1st until June 1st. Check the regs,
Baitless, barbless and no scent. Good luck.
