A shout out to my PP brothers that helped to make what would have been a crummy ho hum weekend a lot more interesting.

Unexpected visits by Parker and Bantam yesterday, and an unplanned spur of the moment fishing trip with CanyonMan and Loomis today.

The hunt for springers has been exasperating for me this year. Got out a couple times, but still no love from the springer gods. Appreciate the generosity of friends who continue to share their bounty (Loomis and CanyonMan boxed a hen spring king the night before).

Made my weekend guys! Thanks again.

Do you mean "Loomis" as in Abu Loomis? I thought he was off in Maui livin the dream? Glad the PP bros turned your weekend around doc - that's what good friends are for.

No reason for me not to swing by when I'm in the area... you usually have some sort of crazy brown people food ready to serve up but not this time around. Just a few beers, good laughs and well kinda of a tackle exchange.

Visits by old, and new found friends, can really make a guys day.

For me, a visit from parker rates right up there at the top of my list. To see him, eyes wide open, like a deer in the headlights, watching the machines run .... doesn't get any better than that.

I wished him a happy birthday and when I axed how ole' .... parker just smiled and said ... fortify .

Sounds like Parker was making the rounds. Nice post Doc and Michael I would have had to crack some old man jokes to you when you passed us on the Sol Duc yesterday had I known it was your birthday...cause that's what friends are for right?
