Hey everyone.

Need some recommendations for a guide in the Keys for July.

Trying to find someone who can give us the flavor of the place. We don't want to fish offshore, but want to try the back-country/tidewater deal.

When I was there, it kind of seemed like one of the epicenters for fishing down there.
I ran into a number of guides also at Pappa Joe's marina, Worldwide Sportsmen and the docks at the bar at the Lorelei.

You can also rent a small boat on marathon for about $125.00 (16 or 17' bay boat with a 60 hp Yamaha) a day plus gas. Bigger is more. I get a 24' pontoon boat for $200.00 and the wife enjoys the day too.
