I hear ya. I was fighting a fish at PnP on Sunday and had a 20' Trophy run right over my line. The guy on the kicker was a real goofball. Their breakfast smelled good though. wink

I'll be out tomorrow as well. Friday and Sunday if I can get the chores done.

Boat clean. check
Leaders tied. check
Bait cut. check
Make ice. check
Lunch packed. check

Chores are done! I'm going fishing!

Plucked two from out of the FOG this AM.

Sorry about cutting off your new flasher and spoon. I had no idea I caught your gear. I never saw you. You never yelled. I will give it back if you can identify it.

Wow! The flood tide (+12-13') looked and sounded like the Columbia. Watch it!

We were out as well in the fog! Scratched out 2, lost a 3rd! It's been a hell of a year for us.

Stone yes I did, mainly cause once I got my presents then it was only a couple weeks to my birthday!.. I have windows on when I can fish and how far I can go. The Navy keeps me from fishing everyday like I want to. So any chance that there maybe for me to catch fish I dont want to waste it brotha smile

We've been spoiled the last few years with some excellent silver fishing. Every year is different.
Last July was good. This year, not so much.
They'll show up on their own timeframe, not ours.

We (Tony and I) got a fair Coho this morning on the Bar.
We moved over to the heard about an 1 before the change. Tony hooked up on a Native. Here is video proof. Beware the minor incidental fbomb or 3.

http://vid1179.photobucket.com/albums/x390/GutZ211/Fishing%202014/9August005_zps6bf36f5e.mp4

A bit later we got a twin with no fin, so not a bad day.
PS I hate the super moon. Big tides. Tough to persied's, although I did spot one early this AM .

Here is a shot of the Sunrise. Called a Sun Pillar I believe.
