Just haven't been able to get out on the ocean this year much. Guy from work tells me.." I heard you fish man....can you take me I want to learn more" Ok Launch the DB..As I'm pulling away from the launch going over terms he needs to know about being in the boat...He drops the bomb " I'm excited man! I have never fished before In my life!" Oh...visions of casting go out the window. Ok. Switching tactics. Divers away....you watch that rod and do what I say " ok man" Fish eats the right rod in the first 20 feet Fish on. Well. Having never touched a fishing rod in his life he exceeded my expectations by1000%. Takes direction well. But he about pooped his pants when he saw what I netted

Explaining bobber fishing was a bit much the first time he ever casted. So when he wanted to fish again in scratched my head. ...Ok buddy. I got something for you. He honestly could cast fairly well in the first 20 minutes so boondoggling it is.....Second hole  10 minute fight down a shallow gravel bar. He was about as stoked as you could get. First two times fishing ever and he catches two steelhead. What a cool experience. Maybe I should do this part time.....hmmmm

What's wrong with his eyes? Lol Im a Clackacraft owner but I'm not sure I'd call that one pretty, even without the motor. A couple of nice fish in those pics!
