Loved the Mad Max movies. Don't think computer graphics will improve on those films a bit.

Even if this is great entertainment (the action should be solid), I think it's just one more example of how Hollywood has completely lost its imagination. We'll know they've thrown in the towel on creativity when we see previews for a re-make of "Cool as Ice."

The ending was a little Hollywood, but the story and the effects were pretty damned good. Totally worth seeing on the big screen in 3D.

(The Hollywood Reporter)A well-known "men's rights activist" blog is calling for a boycott of the postapocalyptic film "Mad Max: Fury Road" for being a "feminist piece of propaganda posing as a guy flick."

Author Aaron Clarey admits he has not seen the film yet, but his self-proclaimed "spidey sense" noticed that Charlize Theron "talked a lot during the trailers" for the film, and he said Tom Hardy only seemed to have cameo appearances. "Charlize Theron's character barked orders to Mad Max," writes Clarey on Return of Kings. "Nobody barks orders to Mad Max."

Clarey did not like reading reviews commending Theron for many of her action scenes, nor did he appreciate the news that the movie's director, George Miller, asked "Vagina Monologues" author Eve Ensler to consult with the five actresses who play sex slaves in the film. (Theron's character plays a road warrior fighting to lead the child-bearing women to safety.)

Clarey writes that he is concerned "men in America and around the world are going to be duped by explosions, fire tornadoes, and desert raiders into seeing what is guaranteed to be nothing more than feminist propaganda, while at the same time being insulted AND tricked into viewing a piece of American culture ruined and rewritten right in front of their very eyes."

When I saw the previews........It seemed like a perfect time to go take a piss.

Perhaps the movie is better.

If your masculinity is challenged by anyone, or anything, but especially by a movie character...then you have nothing to worry about.

I once lost a part of my manhood when I was forced to watch Steel Magnolias. I promptly gained it right back by watching the Dirty Dozen. It still pisses me off that Jim Brown never does run fast enough.

Anyone that posts a review of a flick they've not viewed is a joke. Second -if this 'dude' is so over wrought about Charlize barking orders at Max (s)he must not of seen Thunderdome 'cause Tina barked a few.
Any flick that has car chases of any sort, things blowing up & unneeded over the top carnage is ok in my book even if unseen.

Slavery is a horrible practice but sex slave makes it seem almost palatable.

I tell you...I liked this movie. I don't know why, though. It was one giant chase sequence from start to finish. All action, every second. It should've been too much - basically visual overkill. But somehow it worked. My teenage son dragged me along, and I ended up really liking it. It's even a bit artsy like the original movie.

I don't know where all this 3rd wave Feminazi crap came from, but anyone who is a fan of all Mad Max movies knows there's always been at least one hot, strong woman in each movie. Virginia Hey as "Warrior Woman" in #2. Tina Frickin' Turner ring a bell? That hot aussie chick leader of those weird ass kids. She maybe had the best set of legs in movie history. Nomnomnom...

It came from pencil [Bleeeeep!] nerds who would barely be able to ID a pussy with a map, flashlight, and Penthouse magazine.
