So, I have started floating a small chunk of prawn under a float for summer steelhead with some success. Mainly because its easy and cheaper than buying eggs when I don't have any. I usually just throw some cure on them and let them sit and they are ready to go.

My question is...can I use this for chinook? It should work right? I usually use a pink cure for steelhead, should I just slap a whole prawn on and use a dark red cure? Maybe some scents? Any suggestions on scents would much appreciated. Any help actually...
