Any luck on the Cowlitz lately??? Also, where else can I go fishing in a 20ft sled. And please don't say "the Columbia" or the "Indian Ocean" or any where but WA. Live in Puyallup and drive to the Cowlitz regularly. Would also consider Flyfishing spot, but it must have parking close by as the wife cannot wade out in the river anymore.(6 and 1/2 months pregnant with my twin boys!!!!!!!) Needs to be able to sit down fairly often.

I'd check the latest with DFW, but I'm pretty sure that the Cowlitz closed on Monday.

The Cowlitz only closed to the retention of Spring Chinook. You can still fish for Steelhead. The Lewis below Johnson Creek is open and so is the Wind (but the dam counts are way down). Not much else for 20' sled unless you want go sturgeon or shad fishing on the Columbia.
