Looking for other BC rivers to fish for salmon. Mainland BC within 2 hrs of the border is best for me.

There are numerous tributaries of the Fraser, from small ones such as the Harrison to large ones such as the Thompson R. that have great fishing. Also some places on the mainstem Fraser itself. All it takes is a fishing B.C. booklet and regs and a good map of SW B.C. There are a few good places up the Inside Passage from Vancouver by road plus ferryboat. And Vanc. Is. Probably a little more than a couple hours though.
