Clean water and salmon recovery receive grants

The King County Flood Control District recently approved more than $4 million in grant funding for a range of projects aimed at improving water quality, protecting and restoring habitat, and supporting salmon recovery efforts in four King County watersheds.

Two local watershed areas will receive funding. The Snoqualmie Watershed will receive $798,000. The Lake Washington, Cedar River and Sammamish Watershed will receive $1.5 million.
