Now that it is legal, Oregon has a great example right across the river on how to screw up implementing it.

amen. the funny thing is that washington wasn't the first and could have learned from the success in colorado. it seemed like they tried so hard to cater to those who were against it that the law became too hard to implement successfully.

tax the growers to grow it also make em pay higher property tax because the roads they live on will be traveled more..... then throw a tax on the sale. Lets see..... how else can we tax pot??????

The pot taxation issue in OR will be a moot subject if you just grow your own...which will be legal under the new law.
No so quick....... they will find a way to tax even growing for your own use.

No so quick....... they will find a way to tax even growing for your own use. Part of the wording on the ballot measure stated that each household can have 4 plants that do not have to be registered or taxed....
