I was there Wed. and I fished blue creek for 3 hr and there were only 9 people there and 2 fish landed by the point. I also fished Barrier Dam and 3 guys fishing it and 2 of the 3 had hook ups (the one that didn't was me ) OH well. Hope that helps..

Thanks for the input. Steve and Mike, still planning on fishing Blue Creek on down. Talk with ya both Thursday night to finalize the plans. By the by Chris, when ya hit the Cowlitz with the drift boat the first place to stop and anchor up if ya launch at the trout hatchery is the clay banks just after the Blue Creek corner or the gravel bar on the other side of the river. Both places ain't no secret, just a place to start. The drift from there to the Mission Bar takeout is about a five miler.
