Call Ted's Sporting Goods. I don't know if they will rent you equipment but might be able to steer you in the right direction.

Keep posting here and maybe one of the members will volunteer to take you out.

For steelhead the Skykomish river is a good bet.Ask the guys at Ted's where the Cable Hole is.
Good Luck!

Hit the fishing piers dude. Seacrest, the Happy Hooker, Edmonds, or Dash Point; any one of these may be hot for summer kings while you're here in Seattle. You'll need a med or med heavy stick (8-1/2 to 9-1/2 ft), 12 or 15 lb test line and a jig (dart or buzz bomb).

gregfh,
Have your aunt check with some friends or neighbors and see if they could get you out or loan you some tackle. Also Lake Washington boarders the entire east side of the city. Lots of parks, some with docks/piers. Also the arboritum at the University of Washington might be a spot to fish from the bank. Lake holds trout, large & small mouth bass, perch. Seattle is a big place, are you going to be in the city or one of the surrounding communities? Little more info could help point you in the right direction.
