Looking at making the trip down to Cathlamet here in the next couple weeks. Anybody have any news or reports on how the Elochomen Summer Run is looking so far??

Hey, Your neighbor tells me fishing is hot there and that one of the guys at his work caught with his friends, 13 steelhead!!! Is this accurate information or lets go fishing and try out that new trailer?

The Eloch rec'd a plant of about 20,000 in 1998 to return this summer. I have been down there a couple trips. Last weeks rain pushed some into Beaver Creek/Black Bridge area. My hats off to the supposed 3 guys who hooked 3 fish, sounds like perfect timing.

Hey D.D., The number was 16 between the four of them (not 13), but they were actually out in the Columbia within a mile or so of where the Elochomen enters, so couldn't say for sure if they were Elochomen fish. Thanks for the input Extreme, hope to be hookin' into one of those Summer Runs real soon.
