Preliminary reports are that the two Charlie Hebdo shooters took hostages and holed up in one location, and another possibly related shooter did the same in another location... and French commandos hit both spots and all the terrorists are dead, apparently with no civilian casualties.
Good news right there.

That's what I have heard, too...but it looks like some non-life threatening injuries, and no deaths for the civilians, at least that's what they are saying now.

Unconfirmed reports are coming out of Tel Aviv now that four customers were killed at the kosher market.

Never underestimate the French special forces and intelligence services. They are every bit as good as the U.S. and maybe better. Look for a few "training camps" to quietly disappear over the next few months.

It won't be quiet at the camp...but there won't be imbedded journalists with the commandos that are allowed to "report" the "facts" about what is going on in order to gin up votes back home. One of the gunmen *may* have visited Al Qaeda in Yemen. A member of Al Qaeda in Yemen is saying they directed the attack. I predict more intense drone activity there. I agree...but to be fair, Al Qaeda in Yemen would take credit for the flooding in Aberdeen last week, too, if they thought it might get them a recruit or two. Fish on... Todd

it's pretty pathetic the french of all countries had the balls to kick some dirtbag @ss! this country should seriously take notes. good job to the french authorities. Like I said never underestimate the French! Kidnap a Spainiard, German, Itaian etc and you get your millions in ransom money. Kidnap a Brit or an American, get ignored and make a propaganda vidio. Kidnap a Frenchman and bye bye cell. Navy Seals took out one Somali Pirate and it makes front page news. Meanwhile hundreds of Somali Pirates are sitting in French prisons. Most are extremely poor, young and ill trained. And the Warlords who hired them? Dead!!! Heard much on the pirate front lately  Words out. Don't kidnap Frenchmen. I'm never surprised to hear of terrorist attacks in France as they are a prime target. Especially seeing that the Muslem population in France is about the same % as the Hispanic population in the US.

To be fair, AQ in Y is a pretty virulent strain of terrorism that rightly takes credit for multiple acts. That "visit" you mentioned one of the French f'ers taking to Yemen was for training. He was also in prison for recruiting fighters in Syria. Yes the are, the worst of the worst. Fish on... Todd
