I am going to get my glasses removed from my face via lasix surgery . After the surgery I will need a new pair of polarized sunglasses. Recommendations? Should I have my old glasses lenses replaced with plain glass polarized? (titanium frames are dam near indestructible)

Just take your frames to an optical store and get the shade of lens installed right there Wall Mart etc. all the malls have franchises of one kind or another that at least can order your lenses in a timely fashion.

Action Optics puts out a great polarized lense. Great frames too. Hey, post how you like the surgery (blind as a bat without my glasses-I'd like options). Good Luck!

Had the eye surgery done last month. Everything went great. The Lasic vision clinic in Bellevue wanted $2,000 but came down to $1500 after my sob story Then I talked to others who also got the reduced price! Pays to whine sometimes.

I am going to Victoria. They charge 990 canadian and my insurance is picking up the tab . My Brother and his wife got theirs done last week and they both got better than 20/20 vision. Pain free.. they said the eyes drops you put in your eyes was the worst because of the taste.

I was planning to have it done in Canada but the pre-exam showed that my corneas were too thin. Apparently, the clinic in Canada didn't have the ability to work with thin corneas. I've had 3 post surgery visits and 20/20 in each eye every time. There is about a 2 month period where the eyes fluctuate, but the drops help. I should be in good shape for fall fishing! Let it rain
My eye were a minus 7.5 and 6.5
They will operate up to minus 10 or 11 vision.
