We had a cow sealion come up on our stern on the voyage back in to the marina during my last visit to Cabo. Probably the one in the video.

She was well behaved, aside from a little begging.

I was amazed at how close she stayed at the stern without getting all chewed up by the prop. She did exactly what they were showing in that video. Startled me when she first popped up, as I was sitting on the stern.

Guilty, in that I fed her the left over bait. I have quick reflexes, so I still have all my fingers. Never felt like she would have taken off a finger in any case. I didn't listen to the audio, but I suspect that wasn't enforcing positive wild sea lion behavior. Was still cool, though.

Been there did that last year. Guide had my wife feeding him. I took video. Also had a visit from a pelican.

This is one of dumbest things I've seen in awhile.

The last line was "These are really intelligent creatures."

Ah come on you guys are a bunch of wussies. So am I too. I did go and swim with dolphins. So who on here surfs? Saw on Komo TV that a seal was killed by a confirmed great white shark off of Ocean Shores.

I'd start carrying a hell of a lot larger bottle of wood shampoo. Like what Edgar used to use.
