Anyone have a special way to carry their Jigs when they're on the river? I usually use zip lock bags and keep like colors together....often times I even tie my leaders before heading out.
Thanks

Tell ya what... you buy my jigs and they come in a nice little zip lock baggy... You can put them in there when you are done with them and that way they will stay nice and neat. Hehe just kidding... I usually stick them in pipe insualltion and store them like that...

The jigs I use(Rainbow Jigs) come in individual zip lock bags and I keep them in those and put like colors in small plano boxes and carry those in a fanny pack. Remember that wet jigs need to be air dried or they will rust. I have a piece of styrofoam in the back of my truck that I stick all my wet jigs on after a days fishing and they are usually dry by the time I get home. I can then put them back in the small zip locks and throw them back in their boxes. Another good way to go is with a fly box, Scientific Anglers makes a nice box for carrying jigs.

I use the large size nubby fly boxes in my vest, and they work great. I use the same method as Jigman for drying wet ones. If you spend a little time putting them on styrofoam to dry, the hooks will stay in good shape, and the marabou or hair will stay in better shape. I tend to stay away from the little ziplock bags, as they always seem to blow out of my vest after I take out my jigs. Got tired of chasing them down the river.

Sounds like we all pretty much do the same things. Thanks for the feedback.
Andy, I also build my own Jigs and have a small group that fishes the Clearwater River who use them. I also supply 10-15 fisherpersons in the Seattle area with my product. Thanks for the offer though..
