Bank or America put out a press release this week telling people that they should buy gold, hoard cash and that the stock market was going to be very volatile this summer.

Now why would one of the world banks tell the general public to do these things, I mean it is completely against their interests. Unless they are already leveraged in gold and want to take profits now, or when SHTF maybe people wont hate them as much as other banks when things are readjusted, since they gave a warning and all.

Over the past couple months a few press releases here and there came out regarding banks investing in large sums of gold and silver. Chase Morgan is a good example. Why would they do this? Gold and Silver are not considered real currency, or even a real investment for that matter. What Gold and Silver is considered is a hedge against inflation since it always holds its buying power no matter the price. A 1955 Quarter still has the same buying power now that it did when it was minted in 1955. At that time it would buy you gallon of gas and a cup of coffee. Today its silver weight value will get you the same thing. '

So the question is why are the big banks now using your deposits to purchase Gold and Silver? And now Bank of America is telling every day people to do it.

Bank of America just got busted with Citi and JP, they were fined 300 million i think it was, and Citi and JP were fined well over 700 million if i remember right, with a couple other banks involved totalling 5.7 billion.... and it was because they were fixing foriegn exchange rates...

FYI a quarter from 55 is worth about 3 bucks today.... a half dollar will get ya bout 8....
