Been a while since I've been out to chase ol' Tom. This was the result of a 15 minute hunt. 25 yard head shot. Tom got thwacked hard with the contents of a Winchester 3" Turkey Load. It was quick and painless for Tom as he never even quivered. 8.5" beard on this Tom.

I'm attempting the "No Smile" Alaskan variant pose.

Youngest son and I got out first weekend in May. Called a Tom in just out of range one day, then chased a few gobbles the next day, but no luck. Good times. Decided we would go the easy route.



These guys decoy pretty easily.

At first methinks, which one is the turkey ?
Then after some squinting I can see Paker.
Then me wonders, just what is Paker doing back there ?
