The Medicare does offer a Plan B which covers things not covered by basic medicare such as some doctor services, diagnostic services, ambulance and otherr items. I'd check the additional coverages available thru Medicare, what's covered and the cost, then use that to shop for private coverage. If you have medical coverage thru an employer, the company may also offer insurance to cover what medicare doesn't.

Quiy your job and Sell everything you own put all the cash in a trust and form an LLC controlled by someone you really trust or your kids. Have the kids Loan your money back to you the from the LLC and buy new Sh!t. You never have to pay back the loan it just sits there and accrues interest. This is good interest because when you die all your assets are used to pay back the LLC and reduce the inheritance tax to your heirs. Go on the Washington state health exchange and declare zero income and get the Cadillac plan for free. It's better than any employer sponsored plan and everything is 100% free.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

I got part A and B and then added Regence to cover what they don't. So far, so good. But, as others have said, many docs won't take a new Medicare patient because the payment they get is often too low to even recoup the costs.

Well, Reefskunk, the last thing I need at my age is a little ankle biter. Little bugger would harsh my buzz so bad AC/DC played at '11' wouldn't help.

Depends? LOL.
My young son had a nasty flu thingy a while back and it was liquid coming out of both ends unannounced. Obviously this was a problem.
That evening I ran to the store to get him some disposable undies. He was embarrassed to wear them............................Until I put them on too.
The next day things cleared up for him and I haven't worn them since.
  Good times.

Age 65. Forget about Medicare, Medicaid, plans A & B, supplemental insurance, drug plans, catastrophic illness insurance, long term care insurance, durable power of attorney, trusts and living wills... find a death panel; turn yourself in.
