For anyone curious about venturing forth:

Fished buoy 10 yesterday(Saturday 5th)from 10am to 7:30 pm. Fished low slack through high slack and then some. It's early yet. We boated 2 SMALL silvers and had one other takedown....not good for a full days fishin. And we were the fortunate ones! Many boats had nothing, some had one, some had a couple. But for about the 400 boats that were out there, we didn't see more than a dozen nets fly all day.

River temp. was 67-68 degrees and ocean temp was 65.

We marked alot of fish, saw some bait patches via the pelicans but just not alot of biters yet. Did here of a couple 25-30lb. range chinook taken. But nothing like what it will be.

Like I said, it's way early yet. I normally don't even go till the third week of august but it was an opportunity and nothing else was going on so I thought I'd sample it.

Good luck if you go.
