I have been fishing out of Illwaco with great success for silvers. I overheard a conversation between two old timers that they had found that silvers liked a herring or anchovie trolled "briskly" in a tight spin and that the kings prefered a slower trolled bait in a wider roll. Fact or fiction? Luck of the draw? Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance...DB

Good sound advice from what I have found in my experience ... an excellent tip for those new to the trolling game. I recieve plenty of emails asking for this information. Thanks for the tip, good luck! Also keep in mind though that as soon as you say "this is the ONLY way" in the steelhead or salmon fishing game, the fish will do their best to prove you wrong!
