Salmo g. River Nutrients Registered: 03/08/99 Posts: 13630	People tell me carp fishing is the equivalent of freshwater bonefishing. Might have to consider it. And you wouldn't have to rinse your gear afterward.

And you wouldn't have to rinse your gear afterward. there is/was a lake in Lacey that had lots of bass and some variety of grass-eating carp in it... those carp flat out fight and they will take bugs on the surface... One carp in particular took down my surface popper, ran straight at my boat, dove under the boat, came back to the surface on the other side and proceeded to take me into backing... only fished the lake once and only caught the one carp but it was sure fun.
