On a driftboat???
Basically it allows you to put a motor on the boat w/o removing your anchor bracket. also it decreases the angle of your anchor rope, resulting in slightly less binding.

P.S. I thought I saw you were from Yakima. Would you be willing to help me with some tips on Drano/Vernita area fisheries. I'd be willing to trade info on other areas.

I have 2 anchor pulleys on my boat. One for when I have a motor and then a really slick system stright out the back when I don't have a motor. Obviously the straight out the back system is removable (2 stainless bolts w/ wing nuts....)
